Tamanu herbal lotion has been formulated with plantain, burdock oils and colloidal oatmeal, This lotion is excellent choice for people that don’t like to use salve due to the oily residue. This is a thick lotion that is easily absorbed by skin and for that reason is great daily moisturizer that can be used from head to toe.
It is great companion for hikers, bikers and people that spend time outside and /or have inflamed, dry skin prone to eczema.

Light color of the lotion is derived from virgin organic Tamanu oil that naturally has a deep green color.
Tamanu lotion is made with high percentage of organic colloidal oatmeal and skin beneficial oils and butters that are formulated for easy absorption with out leaving oily residue on the skin.
Colloidal Oatmeal is a natural complex of lipids, proteins, peptides, and starches that soothe, nourish, and moisturize skin – especially sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
Burdock root has been used for centuries to treat skin conditions like acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Anti inflammatory and antibacterial properties of the root are known to resolve skin issues.
*Tamanu oil is a greenish oil extract from nuts of the Calophyllum inophyllum tree, which is native to Southeast Asia. In traditional medicine, people have used extracts from this tree to treat skin disorders and aid wound healing.
In traditional rituals tamanu oil is applied topically to help with cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites and stings, abrasions, acne and acne scars, psoriasis, diabetic sores, sunburn, dry or scaly skin, blisters, and eczema. Polynesian women believe that tamanu promotes healthy, clear skin and they use it to relive skin irritations.

For centuries, extra virgin olive oil has been used topically to relieve every day skin ailments. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-aging properties because it is packed with antioxidants and vitamins.
